Summer Planning School 2025 – “Be a Little Town Planner”

Summer Planning School 2025 – “Be a Little Town Planner” is the annual flagship event of the Planning Department Outreach Programme. Invigorating Island South Office of the Development Bureau and the City Gallery are the co-organizer this year. The event received an enthusiastic response, with 95 students from 9 primary schools participating. Under the guidance of professional urban planners, landscape architects, and engineers, the students explored the current conditions of the Wong Chuk Hang, Ap Lei Chau, and Aberdeen area and took part in hands-on community planning as little town planners. The activities were successfully held from 14 to 16 July 2025, featuring a diverse programme including lectures, guided tours at the City Gallery, field visits, and workshops.

We hope this event will inspire the next generation to develop an interest in urban planning and join us in building a better Hong Kong in the future!
