
“Be a Teen Town Planner – Planning for a Liveable New Community” Competition 2026
The “Be a Teen Town Planner – Planning for a Liveable New Community” Competition 2026, organised by the Planning Department has been successfully held. This year’s competition received submissions from 280 students forming 57 teams from 33 secondary schools. The event was supported by the Northern Metropolis Co-ordination Office (NMCO) of the Development Bureau. Participants studied and planned for the area near Queen’s Hill in the Northern Metropolis. Among all submissions, 9 teams were shortlisted. Finally, the 9 shortlisted teams presented their proposals on 11 July, and winners were selected by the Adjudication Panel formed by experienced Town Planners and Engineers, followed by the award presentation.
