Hong Kong Institute of Planners Awards 2018
'The 3D Planning and Design System – A Smart Planning Tool' won the Certificate of Merit
of the Hong Kong Institute of Planners Awards 2018. The System is a one-stop integrated
web-based application platform for different professionals to access and visualise a host of
various planning and development related information in two-dimensional/three-dimensional
environment. It also provides a versatile planning and design tool for scenario testing and
planning/urban design assessments. The launch of the System signifies a major step forward in
applying innovation and technology to facilitate urban planning in Hong Kong.
