Planning Department Annual Forum 2018

The Planning Department Annual Forum 2018 was held on November 14, 2018 at the
City Gallery with the theme ‘Planning for Our Future’. Mr Robin Lee, Former Head of the
Sustainable Lantau Office, delivered an in-depth briefing on the ‘Lantau Tomorrow Vision’
outlining the overall development proposals and challenge ahead. Mr Ivan Chung, Deputy

Director of Planning/Territorial, gave a comprehensive overview of the strategic planning
context associated with the ‘Lantau Tomorrow Vision’. Several section heads were also invited
to share their experience on planning works. The forum was attended by over 260 colleagues.

Caring Organisation Logo

The Hong Kong Council of Social Service awarded the Caring
Organisation Logo (2018-19) to the Department, in recognition
of the Department’s commitment in caring for the community,
caring for the employees and caring for the environment over
the past years.
