Planning Department Annual Forum 2017


            The Planning Department Annual Forum 2017 was held on November 21, 2017 at the
            Auditorium of Customs Headquarters Building with the theme  ‘People-centric Planning for
            the Aged’.  Colleagues were able to appreciate the issue of ageing and housing/housing design
            for the aged in Hong Kong through the sharing of Proferssor Terry Lum, Head of Department

            of Social Work and Social Administration, University of Hong Kong; Mr Daniel Lau, Director
            (Development and Marketing Division), Hong Kong Housing Society; Ms Alice Yeung,
            Assistant Director (Architectural) of Architectural Services Department, and colleagues from the
            Department.  There was also exchange of ideas at the panel discussion session.  The Forum was

            attended by around 230 colleagues.

            Caring Organisation Logo

            The Hong Kong Council of Social Service awarded the Caring

            Organisation Logo (2017-18) to the Department, in recognition
            of the Department’s commitment in caring for the community,
            caring for the employees and caring for the environment over the
            past years.


            Inclusive Organisation Logo


            The Department continued to participate in the Talent-Wise
            Employment Charter and Inclusive Organisations Recognition
            Scheme and implementation of one or more measures to promote

            the employment of persons with disabilities.
