Promoting Employment of Persons with Disabilities
In 2017, there were 17 persons with disabilities employed by the Department. The Department Our PerfOrmance
will continue to provide equal employment opportunities to persons with disabilities with a
view to facilitating their integration into the community.
Awards / Commendations
i. Long and Meritorious Service Award Scheme
In 2017, 40, four and three officers were presented with Twenty, Thirty and Forty Years’
Meritorious Service Certificates respectively in recognition of their long and meritorious service.
ii. Commendation Scheme
In 2017, two officers who have been providing consistently outstanding services in the past
years were granted Departmental Commendation Letters.
