The Planning Department and the City Gallery also facilitated the worldwide fund-raising Focus
activity – Bloomberg Square Mile Relay 2017 – by being one of the supporting organisations
and turning the iconic structure as part of the race course for the relay activity. About 1 000
runners participated in the relay and placed their steps inside ‘Playful Hong Kong’!

Public Feedback
The ‘Hong Kong ∞ Impression’ exhibition was successfully held with positive feedback received
from visitors which amounted to a total of 115 000. Visitors showed great interest in town
planning and gained more knowledge in city development in Hong Kong. Surveys conducted
during the exhibition period revealed a high visitor satisfaction rate and positive feedback in
various aspects including the exhibition contents display methods and the related activities.
Looking Ahead
In order to provide up-to-date planning information and enrich visitors' experience, the City
Gallery launched a new exhibition zone called ‘Visionary Hong Kong 200’ this month. The
exhibition comprehensively presents the history of Hong Kong's town planning for almost
two centuries since 1841, as well as the long-term future planning of Hong Kong 2030+.
Physical models displaying major development plans for Hong Kong including Central, Wan
Chai North and North Point harbourfront, Lantau, Kwu Tung North and Fanling North new
development areas, as well as Hung Shui Kiu and Yuen Long South, are also presented in the
exhibition.
